New book explores the connection of Negev Desert Rock Art to Myths and Astronomy. It traces the Negev Desert pre-history through archeological remains such as Rock Art, Masseboth, Temples, and the Holy Mountains. It reconstructs the beliefs of the Negev Desert people through Myths and Astronomy as influenced by ancient Egypt and Sumer assuming that the rock art are just reflections of these beliefs.
The valuable collection of Rock Art deciphered sheds new light on the ancient’s spiritual world especially its connection to ancient astronomy. It illuminates how early man envisioned Creation, invented the first Calendar, and expressed his desire to reach Paradise. After 8,000 years of silence, we finally hear the faint voice of ancient civilization from the Negev Desert.
The book contains 5 chapters and 137 figures, which set the background for Rockart deciphering. It includes Mythology, Astronomy, Archeology, and Deciphering.
